|Duplicate of post from the Sailjazz bulletin board earlier today:
OK gang, here's my proposal for final details:
Location: Leeds Creek, off the Miles River opposite St. Michaels Harbor. We will likely sail over on Friday and spend Friday night in St. Michaels tied up to the museum's warf. If anyone cares to join us there, museum members can tie up at the museum for about 60 bucks a night. Call a week ahead to get a reservation.
Time: We'll be over at the anchorage by about 2:00 PM on Saturday. If you beat us there, pick a location with enough swinging room for 5 or 6 boats.
Bring: A main dish to pass for a Saturday evening buffet. We'll bring an artery-clogging dessert. Sunday morning we'll likely lead an expedition into St. Michaels for a brunch at the restaurant formerly known as "Poppy's".
Let us know if anyone wants to come via land; we'll make arrangements to pick you up in St. Michaels.
We'll monitor channel 16, but you may have better luck via our cell phone (301.910.5951).
Thanks. Looking forward to seeing everyone. R.S.V.P via this list.
P.S. Anyone else notice that Rich H. has been very quiet lately; I've hear rumors that he's souping up his T-37 in anticipation of "The Great T-37 Miles River Challenge. . . ."
