I finally bit the bullet and ordered a new 3-burner propane stove (a Seaward) to replace the decrepit but still mostly functional original 3-burner Shipmate that came with our boat. Since Shipmate is long out of business, and the burner rings and various parts are hard to find, I thought I'd let the list know that I'll have some available. But...if you're interested please let me know before 1 May (I'll be in the Carib for a month during which time the stove will be replaced and the yuard will dispose of the old one during my absence...so we'll have to pirate the parts before the end of April.)

We had disassembled the burner units, cleaned and rebuilt them; only one remains functional. We removed one completely because we couldn't get it to stop leaking (we do have a Xintex system and shut down everything from the tank forward and burn off the propane in the lines...) We only use one of the remaining burners. The oven unit was working - again Coleman rebuilt it, but I never really tried it out, so the oven remained a stgorage bin.

So, parts are yours for the shipping costs, or if you're in the Chesapeake Bay area and want to come pick up parts - let us know sooner rather than later.

Please email off line at t37traveler@fastmail.fm or contact Coleman at c.blake@computer.org.
