Does anyone know how The V-42 Rub rail is attached to the hull? Screws or bolts? We seem to be taking on a little water while heeled close to the port toe rail. The water pools in the small, lower vee berth storage area just forward of the head bulkhead (port).
Still checking on our bent compression post. I'm thinking the mast was tuned only by feel and they have overtightened shrouds or perhaps the backstay.
Thanks for any input. Kind Regards, Lenny s/v KI Bellingham, WA.

The toerail is secured with nuts and bolts, throgh the deck and inward turning flange of the hull.

On our boat, the wood part of the rub rail is secured with bolts and nuts every 3 feet or so, and the bronze cap is secured to the wood part with wood screws.
